Stratum guide

Administer AI, telemetry, and integrations

Operate the admin console, configure central AI, enable integrations, and keep secrets server-side.

The admin console separates identity, access, governance, AI, integrations, security, and storage into focused operational areas.

Central AI configuration

Administrators select the provider, model, base URL, and API key. Secrets stay in backend configuration, not browser local storage. Deterministic analysis runs before optional AI synthesis.

Telemetry topology

The Prometheus integration reads pre-aggregated OpenTelemetry service-graph metrics and maps labels into Stratum nodes and edges. It is a read-only observed-topology view, not raw trace exploration. Users can fork a snapshot into a normal design.

MCP readiness

Administrators can enable the MCP integration and expose connection details under organizational control. Authenticate it, scope capabilities, and review what architecture data may leave Stratum.

Operational rules

  • Use separate credentials for each integration.
  • Grant read-only access where only observation is needed.
  • Test connectivity before user enablement.
  • Rotate secrets through standard enterprise processes.
